Job Description

GreenWorks is a Premier Inspection, Engineering, Maintenance & Environmental Services Company. Specializing in residential and commercial inspections since 2009, GreenWorks has expanded its services in 2018 to include structural engineering and consulting services. The project types include custom homes, additions, remodels, foundation inspections and elevation surveys, plan reviews, value engineering, structural design: residential and commercial and complete structural plans.

GreenWorks Engineering & Consulting is seeking a competitive Sales Engineer – Structural to join our team. The Sales Engineer will report to the Chief Business Development Officer and work closely with our in-house engineering team and senior executives to develop sales opportunities and attract new clients.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Schedule and execute outside sales meetings;
• Cultivate and maintain professional relationships and business opportunities in assigned area with prospective customers including general contractors, builders and agencies;
• Establish new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule;
• Develops both budget pricing for initial project design along with final project pricing strategy during Transactional Sales Process;
• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements;
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers;
• Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends;
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


• Broad engineering and construction industry experience;
• Ability to present with enthusiasm and ability to be a self-starter required;
• Ability to communicate technical information, concepts and applications using consultative marketing skills in both a one on one environment and a formal public speaking environment;
• Excellent computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRMs preferred;
• Must be able to travel a minimum of 30%;
