Job Description

--The Business Development Executive will be responsible for daily and monthly metrics around sales and call volume to selling shipping services at a certain GP target
--The Business Development Executive will be responsible for building a book of business and generating lasting vendor opportunities
--The Business Development Executive must be comfortable working in Salesforce.com and TMS (Transportation Management System)

Requirements

--2+ years + of industry experience, working within Shipping, Freight, Logistics, Brokerage, or a 3PL environment
--MUST have previous experience with FTL (not looking for experience with LTL/Parcel)
--Ability to work in a fast-paced and metric-driven environment
--Bachelor’s Degree preferred


Location: Reporting daily to a Dallas/Fort Worth Area office; Travel less than 15%
