Their platform allows Enterprise level companies world wide to integrate, migrate, store or modernize any data or applications on premise or in the cloud. They have experienced consecutive quarterly growth for over 10 years and are looking for a VP of Sales to spearhead their Federal/Public Sector Sales Team in Washington, DC.

Job Description

--The VP of Sales will be managing and mentoring a team of 7 professionals in the Greater Washington DC market targeting the Federal and Public Sector.
--The VP of Sales will create account and forecasting plans across all areas of the Public Sector - US Federal Civilian, Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Communities (FBI, CIA) as well as some SLED focus
--The VP of Sales will report to the CRO and will work closely with the CTO, Sales Engineering and Sales Enablement teams to build strategy and account plans.


Requirements

--15+ years of overall experience in technology sales - with a preference for experience within OpenSource or Database Technology
--5-7 year managing a team of sales professionals covering the Public, Federal and Government sectors
--Preference for candidates with a military background and some level of security clearance, but not required


Location: Candidates must be located within the Greater Washington, DC area; Travel 25%
