Remote Sales Executive – K-12 / Education Technology

Our client provides interactive learning devices (computers, tablets, etc.) to K-12 school districts across the US. For the last 20 years, they have continued to expand their market and broaden their presence by also providing security protection, staff augmentation, and professional services. Headquartered in Atlanta, they offices throughout the US and have grown significantly in the past year due to the increased demand for 1-to-1 devices for remote learning. They are adding to their team in the Mid Atlantic and looking for an experienced K-12 technology seller based in Virginia.

Job Description

--The Remote Sales Executive will work in a defined Mid-Atlantic Territory and be responsible for a full sales cycle - prospecting, closing and managing accounts closed.
--The Remote Sales Executive will be selling directly to the CIO and Directors of Technology within schools and school districts.
--The Remote Sales Executive will report to the VP of Sales and will be measured first year on pipeline and opportunities generated as these are multi-million dollar deals

Requirements

--3-5 years of Hardware (Computer, Tablet, Data Center) Sales experience
Experience selling to K-12, School Districts and the Private Education Sector
--Preference for field sales / territory sales experience
--Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED


Location: This is a REMOTE, Home-Based sales opportunity but you must be located within the Mid-Atlantic Territory; Preference for candidates based in Virginia or Maryland; Willing to travel 3-4 days/week by car with limited overnights (Post Covid-19)


Base Comp: $50,000 - $55,000

Total Comp: $80,000 - $100,000 | Year Two: $140,000 - $150,000
