Our client is an internationally known organization focused on serving the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industries. They have been privately held for nearly 50 years and are recognized as the category leader in their space. They have expanded their consulting services to include trade shows, conferences and events, both live and virtual, and are looking to add an Event Coordinator to their Boston-Based team.

Job Description

--The Event Coordinator will be responsible for managing exhibit space in both live venues and virtual event settings, handling any pre-event correspondence and post-event surveys.
--The Event Coordinator must be very detail and process oriented as you will be managing the events calendar, online booking platform, speakers and working with internal and external stakeholders.
--This will be a highly entrepreneurial role within an established organization; the right candidate must be willing to work with the leadership team to help define this role and team for the future.

Requirements

--2-5 years of experience as an event coordinator focused on both in-person and virtual events.
--MUST have experience coordinating, organizing and hosting virtual webinars, meetings and events for large groups
--Candidate must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to oversee multiple events at once
--Must have previous experience utilizing a tech-stack with tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and SurveyMonkey


Location: Reporting to an office daily in the Greater Waltham, MA Area with flex to work from home 2 days a week
