Job Description

If you’re interested in this dynamic position of a Jr. Mortgage Loan Officer on a well-established & successful lending team, look no further; apply today!

**Training will be provided as a part of employment with Buckingham Mortgage**

**Please note - This role is a commission pay role, and is best in the industry**

Responsibilities

1. Advise clients on the home buying or refinance process
2. Educate clients on how to better manage their mortgages
3. Assist clients through the loan process from application to closing
4. You'll track leads daily, schedule appointments, prepare the paperwork, and respond to inquiries on transactions as needed.
5. Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verification and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
6. Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
7. Provide every client exceptional customer service

1. Product Training - Conventional, FHA, VA, Non QM/Stated, commercial Loans
2. Loan Pricing/Structuring
3. How to properly calculate P&I, PITI, ARMs, Remaining Balance, Total Interest Paid
4. 1003 & Appraisals, DTI Ratios
5. Marketing Strategies with Realtors and Real Estate Agents
6. Marketing Yourself - Telemarketing/in-person marketing/social media marketing

Requirements

Qualifications

1. Active NMLS Number (NMLS Test taken candidates can also apply)
2. Comprehension of basic loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
3. Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment & provide outstanding communication & customer service to clients
4. Ability to remain competitive and coach-able while working in a fast-paced sales environment
5. Desire to take your Loan Officer career to the next level
