Our client has developed a strategic approach and partnership model for working with emerging and mid-market biotech and pharmaceutical companies as they devise their Commercial Go-To-Market strategy. They focus on supporting the medical, clinical and commercial aspects of launching a new product to market. They have an established presence and are looking to expand on their Business Development efforts across the US and are hiring a Director of Business Development.

Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a growing organization that has a strong brand presence in the emerging and mid-market Biotech/Pharma industry sector.
• The Business Development Director will be focused on a target list of named accounts and be responsible for identifying prospects and opportunities, developing relationships and winning new business.
• The Business Development Director will be heavily involved in the discovery and scoping strategies for various projects to present the best solution and must be comfortable writing and responding to RFPs.
• The Business Development Director will be working cross functionally within the organization to leverage different area experts to provide a complete solution


• 5+ years of demonstrated success in business development within a bio-tech or pharma related organizations
• Must be comfortable spending the majority of time focused on business development strategy, account penetration, and building strategic initiatives with Chief Commercial Officers and Chief Medical Officers.
• Previous experience working within, Teams, Zoom, Outlook and other sales tech-solutions
• Bachelor’s Degree required

Location: This is a remote work environment with a preference for candidates based in the Northeast (MA, PA or NJ preferred); Must be willing to travel up to 50% as needed
