The Product Integration Software Engineer will become a member of research and development team located in Novi, MI. Digital Check is constantly enhancing the product line with new hardware and software releases including new scanner models, new features to existing scanners, enhancements to embedded firmware, application interface (API) software and application software used to configure, test, and demonstrate hardware.

The Product Integration Software Engineer’s primary responsibility will be to provide support and training to application software developers around the world as they integrate Digital Check products into their check capture solutions. The Product Integration Software Engineer will develop and maintain a suite of sample applications in a variety of programming languages including as Visual Basic, C, C++, C#, Javascript and HTML. The Product Integration Software Engineer will support Windows, Mac OS and Linux application software developers.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain familiarity with all Digital Check products and APIs
Develop new sample/demo applications
Maintain the suite of sample/demo applications by adding support for new products or features
Support application developers as they integrate Digital Check products into their application software
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving open issues
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimal travel to other Digital Check and development partner locations

Requirements

Qualifications

BSCS/EE or equivalent
5+ years of experience
Familiar with desktop computers and MS Windows desktop applications
Familiarity with Windows, Mac and Linux environments
Familiar with Basic, C, C++, C#, Javascript and HTML programming languages and development environments
Strong attention to detail, highly organized.
Excellent collaboration, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
