Job Description

positively impact the success of school district leaders, principals, teachers, students, parents

will separate successful candidates and ensure long-term relationships are formed.

Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- First 8-12 months – making 400 calls a week /200 emails a week
o Booking 4 to 5 appointments a week for our District Partnership team to
complete demonstrations.
o Commision will be paid on each appointment that successfully converts to a
sale.

- Next 12 months - The opportunity to join the District partnership team to book and
complete your own appointments and earn a bigger slice of the commission pot.
- You may also be given warm leads from marketing activities such as events and
webinars and may be required to travel to promote Satchel services face to face at
events or exhibitions (subject to CDC recommendations).
- Future career opportunities include building and managing your own highly driven
sales team to meet revenue forecasts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

Research specific school districts to understand individual roles and responsibilities of the
district cabinet members.

Updating and maintaining records in the CRM system.
Research the district’s strategic priorities and goals and understand what success looks
like for each of your districts.

Use the appropriate industry language, understanding the education environment and the
pedagogy.

Via outbound channels such as cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn, establish needs with
the district and book meetings with our district partnership team.

Follow up on any appointments that did not follow through.
Follow up on marketing warm leads to schedule appointments for the team.
Overcome gatekeepers/receptionists and build rapport to get through to the decision
makers.

Overcome objections and generate interest via emails and voicemails.
Build a rapport with the decision maker and forge a relationship with the district from the
beginning.

Sell the Satchel experience – the lifecycle customer service, the support from customer
success team, and the developments on our roadmap.
In addition you will:

Work with marketing to refine the communication processes and to identify new
approaches for groups/associations of districts

Keep up to date with industry developments
Manage your own time effectively
Keep accurate records of progress on our CRM system

Requirements

University Degree/College Diploma
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Any experience in retail or customer facing roles will be helpful but not a requirement
