Our client is backed by a leading Private Equity firm and they have been gaining momentum in the animal health space. They partner with veterinarians, vet clinics and pharmaceutical organizations to save time, streamline processes and increase profits through their SaaS application. They are looking for a proven leader as their first VP of Sales to help them build strategy, grow a team, and win business.

Job Description

• The Vice President of Sales will be leading a team of 5 to start with goals to grow and build the team. You must understand how to hire, coach, mentor and lead, while also stepping in to close key deals as needed.
• The Vice President of Sales will be focused on identifying new growth opportunities through direct selling, partner development, and major account partnerships.
• The Vice President of Sales will report to the CEO and must understand how to forecast accurately and produce and deliver performance reports


• 3-5 years of experience in Sales Leadership with proven experience in both managing and scaling a start-up team.
• 5+ years of experience in SaaS software sales, and building sales processes
• Data driven methodology and quantitative analytical skills, including pipeline management and forecasting

Location: Working remotely from a home office and traveling as needed; Must be based in the United States.
