Job Description

Interested in merging a love for the outdoors, hospitality and your sales expertise together as a career? The Route Line Sales and Growth Leader will be accountable for the total membership revenue budget with the primary goal of increasing new sales and decreasing member attrition. You will be responsible for building, scaling and leading the sales organization. You’ll build it from scratch, own it and grow with us.

Your areas of focus include product and pricing strategies, prospecting and lead generation, recruitment, selection, and training. You will motivate, lead, and grow a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will bring a successful track record leading the sales function for a high-end or upscale product or service; experience managing a membership sales team, a plus! This ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity because, let’s face it, startups can sometimes be chaotic or without structure. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, problem-solver, ready to roll up their sleeves and leave their mark. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Essential Responsibilities:

-Responsible for the recruitment and selection of the sales team and onboarding new hires based on company standards and processes.
-In-depth involvement with the development and approval of pricing strategies, membership offerings, and new member and sponsor incentives.
-Responsible for developing and implementing lead generation, retention, and sales strategies on a national, regional, and city store level basis.
-Create an environment that leverages team synergies and produces a proactive culture.
-Provide acknowledgment and recognition to inspire the continual improvement of the sales team.
-Utilize company measurement systems to effectively analyze and manage company performance for membership and camp partnership sales and retention.
-Responsible for the communication of sales performance and key strategies on a national, regional, and city-market level through conference calls and meetings.
-Analyzing sales and retention trends to identify areas of opportunities for adjustment.



-5+ years sales team management experience required
-Demonstrated, successful sales record with a high-end, or upscale product or service required; high-end or upscale membership a plus
-Documented experience building a scalable sales organization including the development of processes and procedures
-Proven ability to inspire sales team and create a cohesive, collaborative, and positive team sales culture
-Intermediate to expert written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
-Proven technical aptitude and literacy, including CRM and G Suite/Microsoft Office, specifically Sheets/Excel -- intermediate to expert skills required
-A strong strategic thinker with documented business acumen and the ability to analyze trends
-Authenticated track record of creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills
-Demonstrated passion for providing high-quality member/customer service and commitment to exceeding expectations
-Proven ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
-50% travel within the United States may be required to facilitate recruiting, coaching, training, and store opening(s)
-Position is based in Seattle, WA
