Key Account Manager – AI / Machine Learning

Our client is an internationally based start-up that has already received over $20m in funding. They have created a dynamic machine learning and artificial intelligence platform to aid in the research and development of new drugs and clinical trials for major pharmaceutical organizations. Due to their recent client wins and expanding business needs, they are looking for their first US-based sales representative to join their team as a Key Account Manager.

Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a pure start up as one of the first sales representatives in the United States, with plans to triple the size of the organization by the end of 2022.
• The Key Account Manager will be working in a land and expand model, focusing on bringing in net new clients and growing existing relationships
• The Key Account Manager will be heavily involved in the discovery and scoping strategies for various clients and must be comfortable having in-depth conversations around technology and demoing the platform as needed.
• The Key Account Manager must be comfortable working with C-suite executives, Head of IT, Head of Medicine, Heads of Research and other decision-makers


• 4+ years of proven success selling software or solutions into the Top 200 Pharma organizations
• Preferred experience selling a SaaS or AI based solution but will also consider candidates selling research, tools or data.
• Proven success fostering value-based relationships and a skill set enabling successful relationships with numerous levels within the business hierarchy.

Location: This is a remote opportunity but candidates must be based in Boston, MA or New York/New Jersey; Travel up to 25% to major accounts
