Our client has been in the food import and distribution space for nearly 20 years. They have strategic headquarters in Boston, China and Mexico to ensure quality and dependability for all of their products and customers. They specialize in importing specialty food items such as frozen shrimp, Italian meats, dried fruit and nuts or beans and legumes. They have had steady growth over the last 5 years and are now looking for their first Head of Sales to work directly with the President to continue their strategic growth.

Job Description

• The Head of Sales will be leading and mentoring an established team covering the US across manufacturers, food service distributors and retail accounts.
• The Head of Sales will be tasked with overseeing P&L, hiring/firing and continuing to grow the business year over year
• The Head of Sales must be confident in their ability to lead by example and step in to consult with customers on private label / white label branding opportunities when necessary.


• 10+ Years of experience in wholesale food import space
• 5+ Years of experience leading sales organizations
• Experience leading a sales organization with $50m-$100m in revenue with aggressive growth targets.

Location: Remote work environment; must be comfortable working primarily from a home office and traveling up to 25%
