Our client has been in business for over 35 years and they specialize in providing niche insurance services and products to brokers on a National scale. Now, more than ever, organizations are needing coverage and services to stay competitive and that's where our client comes in. They have experienced 25% YoY growth and are looking for an established Business Development Director to join their remote inside sales organization.

Job Description

• The Director of Business Development will be managing and mentoring an inside sales team two supervisors and 20 BDR/SDR reports
• The Director of Business Development must be a self-starter who can build a vision, execute on GoToMarket Strategy, and work cross functionally within the organization to achieve goals.
• The Director of Business Development will be responsible for a revenue target of $20m-$30m in policy premiums and must be comfortable working and coaching in a high activity sales environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of sales experience with at least 3+ years leading inside sales / business development teams in a recurring revenue model.
• Ideal Candidates will come from an strong SaaS sales environment, with a preference for experience in a highly regulated industry like insurance or financial services.
• Previous experience working with channel partners preferred.


Location: This is a remote, work from home opportunity but candidates must be based in the Eastern or Central time zones.
