They specialize in providing automation equipment and solutions for companies looking to bring their organization into the Industrial IOT space and stay competitive. They are a stable, family run business and are looking for a dedicated sales leader to support their team of field sales and technical specialists.

Job Description

• The Head of Sales will be tasked with leading the sales organization, creating territory plans, working to support channel development, and assigning accounts and quotas.
• The ideal candidate will be able to drive strategy for a calculated sales approach and be willing to coach, mentor and train others on best practices and step in when needed to get the deal.
• The Head of Sales will report to the President and work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Purchasing, Product and Engineering as needed to get the job done.


• 5-10 years of sales management experience, leading field sales teams
• Previous experience working with Distribution and Channel Partners preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred; Previous experience with Sandler Sales Methodology

Location: This is a hybrid work environment where employees are expected to spend 2-3 days a week in the Hartford, CT office and will also be in the field with clients.
