Our client provides the ability for large and small organizations to keep data and applications secure and compliant with. They have developed an automated platform that provides a single pane of glass view of visibility across multiple certificate issues with the ability to audit and automate renewals for zero down time. They are in a growth mode and looking for a highly motivated Sales Director to build out their Federal Sales.
Job Description
• The Federal Sales Director will be the first hire focused specifically on the federal government space and contractors. This sales leader will be expected to build the Go-To-Market strategy as a direct contributor by developing business with NetOps, SecOps, and DevOps decision makers and must be comfortable having in depth discovery meetings.
• The Federal Sales Director will be selling into net new logos across the Government and Federal space, leveraging the channel as needed to bring in new business
• The Federal Sales Director will be supported by a Sales Engineer, SDR and CSM but will be expected to land and expand the deals they bring on.
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in a full sale cycle, quota-carrying technical SaaS organization
• Minimum of 5 years selling into the Federal Government space with referenceable net new logo wins
• Must have previous experience within Security Software, Networking or a similar technical software solution, calling into the IT stack (NetOps, SecOps, and DevOps)
• Ideal candidates will have experience building a federal sales program and go-to-market strategy from the ground up
Location: This is a remote opportunity but candidates must be based in the Greater Washington DC Area (DC, MD, VA) with the ability to meet on-site with clients on a regular basis
