Our client provides an entire suite of software applications specialized for the oil & gas industry. Their portfolio includes engineering software, training modules and simulators to help with calculations to mitigate risk, accelerate projects and enhance performance. They are focused on growing their sales organization in Houston and looking for talented software sales executives to join their team.

Job Description

• The Account Executive be primarily focused on hunting for new business within the Oil & Gas Sector, but will also have an opportunity to cross-sell new solutions to existing clients
• The Account Executive will be tasked with becoming a product expert, running demonstrations and having meaningful conversations with both the end-users (engineers) through the executive and leadership teams.
• The Account Executive must be comfortable working and tracking all information within Salesforce.com and maintaining a strong pipeline to achieve sales targets.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of quota-carry experience in a software sales environment.
• Experience calling on the oil & gas industry
• Preference for candidates with an engineering background or degree


Location: This is an office-based work environment where candidates will report to a downtown Houston, TX based office.
