Federal Account Director – Digital Transformation Software

Our client has acquired several organizations to build the most robust platform in the digital transformation space. According to Gartner, 70% of organizations will use Value Stream Management (VSM) to improve the flow in the DevOps pipeline and our client has created just that. They have an established client base of Enterprise and Fortune 2000 clients and are looking for an established Federal Government Account Executive to help them grow their reach into the public sector after receiving their FedRamp Certification.

Job Description

• The Federal Account Executive will be focused on securing new business within the Federal Government, Public Sector and Government Contractors (like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, etc.)
• The Federal Account Executive must have experience in value-based selling, understanding how to use sales methodology and strategy to drive a calculated sales approach and build the territory.
• The Federal Account Executive will report to the Regional VP of Sales and be supported by a strong Business Development and Sales Engineering team.


• 7-10 Years of experience working in technical SaaS or DevOps focused organization with at least 3 years focused on selling within the Federal Government
• Must be selling into CSOs, CIOs, CTOs and their direct reports
• Must be able to work autonomously, travel as needed and drive strategy within the territory

Location: This is a remote, work from home opportunity covering the Greater Washington, DC Area. Candidates must be based and willing to commute throughout the territory to meet with clients as needed; anticipated travel upwards of 40%
