Redwood Compliance LLC delivers IT cost reduction and spend optimization consulting services across the spectrum of IT spend.

This includes software license & support spend, hardware procurement, cloud contract and deployment optimization, SaaS cost management, infrastructure & hosting, and IT consulting spend. We accomplish this using our methodical consultative process combined with our proprietary software tools.

Job Description


We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team. We are looking for a driven self-starter who is passionate to succeed and win.

As part of this role, you will sell our consulting services that help clients reduce their Information Technology (IT) costs and optimize IT spend. Our target clients include organizations of all sizes and types - from SMBs to Fortune 500, from local city/county governments to US federal government entities. You get to work remotely with flexible hours.

Note: This is a remote job within the US (including Hawaii and Alaska) only.

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

- Prospect and contact potential clients.
Research various sources (LinkedIn, others) for identifying ideal contacts for sales outreach.
- Perform cold outreach via email campaigns and phone calls.
- Setup, design, and execute email campaigns.
- Organize and manage overall sales process.
- Introduce potential clients to our services with initial calls to vet them, then schedule calls with the company Principal.
- Close deals and follow up on client relationships.
- Occasionally travel to events and conferences like ProcureCon, etc.

- This is a contractor (1099) position.
$48,000 base pay per year.
- 20% commission on net new sales.
- Total commission earnings are not capped. You can own your success.

How your performance will be assessed:
- Quality and quantity of strong leads generated.
- Quarterly and annual sales quotas.

What you will be provided:
- Basic training on our services, our approach, and strategy.
- Company laptop, relevant accounts, CRM access, etc.
- Strategies and scripts/templates for email campaigns and phone calls.



- 3+ years of experience in sales or other related "high-touch" fields.
- Experience in performing email campaigns and cold calling.
- Comfortable with CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of general IT concepts like software costs, hardware costs, cloud computing, etc. We will provide additional training on this.
- Prior experience with selling to city, state and US federal government is a strong plus but not required.

- Persistence and not giving up is critical - sales is full of rejection; you need to look ahead to succeed.
- You’re comfortable doing the same thing day in and day out - prospecting requires repetition of primarily the same tasks for most of the day.
- You have a positive attitude and are willing to learn what you need to aid in your own success.
- You are comfortable conversing and developing relationships with strangers.

Base Comp. $45,000.00
Total Comp. $250,000.00
