Job Description

Position Overview

The Door-to-Door Sales Representative for Google Fiber is responsible for increasing the number of active paid residential customers within a market. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing customer residential subscriptions through door-to-door sales. This role reports to the local Consumer Acquisitions Manager (CAM). Google Fiber brings Fiber To The Home internet. These units are primarily residential homes, but may include multiple dwelling units (MDUs).




Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Prospect residential customers by promoting Google Fiber’s internet, voice, and TV services.
 Build a lead pipeline through door-to-door interactions and conduct phone and/or email follow-up.
Update the Customer Relationship Management with relevant customer information, conversion status, and notes.
Partner with Google Fiber team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Communicate the Google Fiber value proposition to customers and display knowledge of Google Fiber’s network and technical deployment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or G.E.D
Experience in sales, account management or customer service.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Experience working in the ISP or telecom industry.
Proficiency in Sales Force or other lead management software.
Ability to navigate ambiguity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to speak Spanish.
