Healthcare Account Manager – Marketing and Events

Company Profile

Our client has been in business for nearly 50 years and are an established leader in the tradeshows, conference and events space. They work on a national level and can boast a large network of existing vendors and partners across many verticals. They are expanding their Account Management team, looking for a sales representative to specifically focus within their largest vertical, Healthcare.

Job Description

• The Account Manager will be managing 2-4 tradeshows each year and responsible for selling all of the event space for each event.
• The Account Manager will also focus on upselling and cross selling additional products and services across each event.
• The Account Manager will work closely with marketing and account coordinators for each event to ensure everything is produced and runs smoothly. This will require travel to the events.

Requirements

• 3+ Years of experience in a full sales role, responsible for selling and managing a book of business.
• Experience selling into marketing or partnering with marketing departments
• Previously experience working with Salesforce.com and A2Z Event Management Software preferred.


Location: Reporting daily to a Greater Washington DC Area office; Traveling up to 25%, sometimes for 5-10 day spans to cover events.
